Usually, I do not post anything about myself on the internet. However, since this is my first Webpage, I am making an exception. I am from Salmo, British Columbia, Canada. Salmo is a small mountain mudhole in the Kootenay area of the Rocky Mountains. The community has a population of approximately 3500 people, and is continuing to grow. There isn't much in this town; a few gas stations, restaurants, and video stores. Most teenage people living here dispise the town because they claim that 'there is nothing to do'. Quite the contrary. There are two beautiful rivers that intersect just outside of town, the Salmo River, and Erie Creek. We are surrounded on all sides by mountains and evergreen trees.

I, myself, am a nineteen year old male from this village, and have lived here for just over ten years. I graduated in 1998 from Salmo Secondary School with a B average, and, after taking a year off to find a job, I am going to Selkirk College in Castlegar for the 1999/2000 semesters. I don't know what I will be taking, however, I plan to either enter the field of medicine, or computer programming.

My hobbies include, as mentioned above, computer programming, roleplaying using the Dungeons and Dragons system. (I am currently the Dungeon Master for a Second Edition campaign titled 'Prelude and Intrigue', which I created myself. I was a steady collector of the collectable card game, Magic: The Gathering. I am officially protesting the Sixth Edition rules changes, and have instead, begun collecting the Star Trek: The Next Generation Customizable Card Game. I still continue to play Magic, however I have minimized my collecting to only one set, Mirage (tm). I also am a die-hard Trek fan.

I have many animals living in my house with me, three cats (Bounce, Psycho, and Spook), three dogs (Grizzly, Scooter, and Black Satin, whom has, for as long as I can remember, been called Sausage), a ferret (Weas, short for Weasel), a vietnamese potbellied pig (Sexy), and about as many fish as the Pacific Ocean.

March 17 marks the sixth month mark of my togetherness with my beloved girlfriend. I love her very much and hope we are together for another sixty years.
